Institute of Professional Studies And Research (IPSAR) – started as an endeavor in 1988 by Dr. R.N. Misra – a visionary educationist of Orissa in the field of Management and Cost Accountancy. In less than two decades IPSAR has evolved into eastern India’s premier management institute.

IPSAR, a premier B-School operating in Eastern India at sliver City Cuttack, got recognition from AICTE in September 1993. IPSAR has an approved intake of 120 for its Full Time MBA programme and an intake of 60 seats for its Part Time 3 year MBA programme for working executives under affiliation to the Biju Patnaik University of Technology(BPUT).

it is the only self-financing Institute which has been conducting 2 years Management Programme for the last 14 years with a student intake of 50-60% from outside the state. The Institute is ideally located for academic pursuit on a lush green campus situated in a clean and peaceful environment of CDA complex on the bank of River Kathojori, Cuttack. The city is well connected with railway and National Highways and 25kms from the state capital, is the hub of commercial activities of the state.

The AICTE accorded recognition in September 1993to conduct PGDM 2 year programme. IPSAR has an approved intake of 120 for its Full Time MBA program and an approved intake of 60 seats for its Part Time 3-year MBA program for working executives under affiliation to the Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT). It is the only self-financing Institute, which has been conducting 2 years Management Program for the last 17 years with a student flow from various states of the country.

Admission Process:

A graduate shall only be eligible for admission into the regular 2 years MBA Program of the University. He /She should have secured a valid rank of Orissa JEE/ MAT / XAT/MAT score as per the norms prescribed by the University from time to time.
Similarly, the minimum qualifications for taking admission into part-time MBA program shall be any graduate with minimum of two years of experience in supervisory capacity in any organization.
A Student shall have to first get admission into the University as bonafide student as per University regulations before commencement of instruction in First Trimester. All admitted students will be issued Registration card by the University.
At the beginning of each trimester (except first), a student has to register for all the subjects. Only such registered students will be allowed to attend classes and appear at examinations.
Admission shall ordinarily close as per notification by the appropriate authority.
